Organization domain verification
When a developer downloads a project’s code, they should be confident that they’re downloading the code that they think they are.
To give developers more confidence that a given organization is the official home of the open source project, we’re introducing verified domains. Organization admins can verify their ownership of one or more domains via their organization’s settings.
If the public information on the organization’s profile (website and/or email) match the verified domain(s), the organization will receive a Verified badge, indicating that we’ve confirmed the organization’s ownership of the domains on their profile.
